Kid Andersen is the Norwegian-born guitar phenom who tours the world with the multi-award-winning band Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, AND produces and engineers many of the biggest blues albums each year at his internationally renowned Greaseland Studios in San Jose, California.
Talladega-born Alabama Mike is a force to be reckoned with – an award-winning masterful, hard-driving blues singer and harmonica player, Mike is one of the most creative and prolific songwriters working today. Alabama can blaze up a good old blues shuffle that’ll have you moving and grooving, then effortlessly transport you through his unique style, offering a soulful gospel-tinged ballad, and his jovial style of storytelling will send you through a range of exhilarating emotions.
D.K. Harrell is a 25-year-old, award-winning emerging Blues artist from Ruston, Louisiana. D.K. has shared the stage with some of the Blues’ most recognizable contemporary artists — Gary Clark Jr. Mr. Sipp, Tedeschi-Trucks band, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram — to name just a few. As a Blues artist, D. K. Harrell is dedicated to the preservation of the Traditional Blues created and performed by B.B. King, Little Milton and other great Blues artists.
Some people were just born to make music. Lisa Leuschner Andersen is of this rare and beautiful breed. Andersen is a vocal instructor, singer with Foreverland (San Francisco based tribute to the music of Michael Jackson), Alumni of American Idol seasons 2 and 3, and Showtime at The Apollo alumni. As the Queen of Greaseland, Lisa has been involved in and performed on over 50 album releases in the last 10 years, including Grammy award winners and Blues Music Award winners.
Lorenzo Farrell of Rick Estrin and The Nightcats, David Hudson of The T-Town Aces, and Brady Kish of The Joe Cook Blues Band will join The Greaseland All-Stars for a night of smoking blues + soul + funk.
