Chris has won the Washington Blues Society “BB Award” as Best Male Vocalist for the past four years in a row\, and the band’s exciting live performances have made them  one of the most in-demand acts in the Pacific Northwest. Chris’ video series\, \nOne Take Weekly @ Plum Tree Recording Studio\, is into its fourth season and has garnered over 180k views on YouTube alone! \nThe band’s latest release\, “Show Me Where to Sign\,” was recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Chris and his guitar hero Eric Heatherly. This high energy record\, which includes several of Chris’s original songs\, blends straight electric blues with blue-eyed soul\, Hendrix inspired rock\, and horn infused funk. \nFor this SSBA Holiday Party show the Chris Eger Band will consists of Chris on guitar and vocals\, his father Randall\, a 35-year music veteran\, on bass\, Matt Clark on drums\, and Rick Jiles on keys. The band’s sound is tight and soulful\, and this performance\, their first at The Spanish Ballroom\, is sure to please their many devoted fans and win new ones. \n  \n \nRT Collective \nRT Collective came about as the result of two extraordinary musicians having a desire to get back to their roots. Guitarist Rafael Tranquilino\, (this year’s Washington Blues Society “BB Award) and bass player Patrick McDanel are both widely known as electric instrument players. But when they got together to jam in 2021\, they decided to go acoustic. The music felt fresh and creative\, and they enjoyed this new collaboration so much that they began bringing this “old school” approach to live audiences. In these duo shows they perform an eclectic mix of songs with a fun\, improvisational approach that engages listeners and provides a unique musical experience.

The Event will be hosted by Rev. Dave Brown.\nJoin us as we celebrate the life of Alice Stuart through words and music. There will be music from some of her favorite stage mates\, featuring Lee Oskar\, Annette Taborn with Nick Vigarino\, Baby Gramps\, Jim Valley\, Marc Willett\, Steven Flynn\, John Hanford\, Joel Tepp\, Kim Field\, Liz Latham & Friends\, Annika Forest-Peterson.\nAlice Stuart was a force of nature\, on and off stage. She was one of a kind and a trailblazer for female singers\, songwriters\, and guitarists. Through small coffeehouse gigs she gained recognition and was booked for the 1964 Berkeley Folk Festival and was an original member of Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention. She went on to record 9 albums\, tour internationally and share the stage with Van Morrison\, Mississippi John Hurt\, Albert King\, John Prine\, Joan Baez\, Jerry Garcia and Phil Ochs. She became a Washington Blues Society Hall of Famer in 2004\, and again in 2014 with her band Alice Stuart & The Formerlys\, and received their Lifetime Achievement award in 2008.\nWhether she was playing her Stratocaster or baking an amazing cake\, her energy and dedication to her craft always turned heads. Donavon is a brand ambassador for Flying Embers as well as Sanuk Footwear and co-owner of Humble Brands\, Caddis Eyewear\, and several other companies. \nBlues Music Award-winning singer\, guitarist\, songwriter\, and producer Devon Allman (son of Rock legend Gregg Allman) has appeared at the world’s biggest festivals and has co-founded the supergroups Royal Southern Brotherhood and The Allman Betts Band amassing a recording catalog of eleven albums. He writes a column for Guitar Player Magazine\, is endorsed by Gibson guitars\, and serves on the board of directors for the National Blues Museum. \n
